School is Off and Running!

Our first 10 days of school have flown by! In between all the procedural information, we learned many interesting things about each other. Who has ridden a horse, traveled over seas, is afraid of spiders, has a pet cat or dog, read a great book, and more. Ask your child what they found out about their classmates.

As a new school year is about to begin, so is a new adventure in the "school-home" connection. In this blog you will find bits and pieces about our school experience, links to parent support and student activities, notes on upcoming events, and more. I hope you enjoy a peek into our learning, thinking, and observations. Of course, all posts will be through me and follow a safe internet procedure. If you have any questions, please, don't hesitate to ask.

I also hope this site will encourage deeper more purposeful thinking, speaking, and writing in our students. Possibly even spark conversations at home. (An end to the "I don't know" response for, "What did you do today?")
